This house refurbishment was undertaken as phase 1 of the Blagdon Old Chapel Scheme. It was a derelict cottage that formed part of the church site. We completely re-planned the layout, extended to the back, and installed dormer windows to allow the bathroom to be relocated to first floor and increase bedroom sizes. We wanted to create a modern contemporary cottage but without detrimentally affecting the historic features.
