The best of both worlds: Triley Court is set in the rugged beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park, yet only a mile and a half from the bustling market town of Abergavenny.
Triley Court is a listed Georgian country house with 9 acres of park land, positioned on the lower slopes of Sugar Loaf Mountain. We started construction in summer 2016 to convert this faded gem into 10 contemporary homes, each with 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms. Most homes have a private garden and allocated parking as well as the use of 9 acres of communal gardens and parkland, including stabling. The development was completed in Summer 2017, with all properties now sold.
Believed to have been built in the 1820s, Triley Court has a classically Georgian red-brick façade. Inside there are some great period features, such as Georgian fireplaces, window shutters, original timber door and ornamental plasterwork. We’re retaining and renovating all of these features during the conversion, returning the building to its former grandeur.
Located within the National Park, with glorious countryside literally on the doorstep, Triley Court is also a few minutes drive from Abergavenny and 50 minutes drive to Cardiff or Bristol. The new homes themselves also offer the best of both worlds: their wonderful heritage setting and gardens together with all the benefits of a contemporary conversion.
